Santa Fe Archery is a family owned Pro Shop. We have a well trained staff. Our staff has attended the Mathews Dealership Class and the P.S.E dealership school. We have a friendly staff with many years of field and stand hunting experience and Target Shooting for those that prefer targets over game animals.

We are a full service shop. We do major bow repairs, major and minor tunes, string and cable replacements. We also replace the cam and idler wheel bushings. At Santa Fe Archery we also build custom strings for compounds and recurves. We do Flemish strings as well. We offer shooting lessons for single or group classes. We can help you with all your hunting needs and we can also recommend quality Outfitters for you next hunting adventure.

David M Leining Sr –

I have been around hunting all my life. I’ve hunted all types of big game. I enjoy the hunting sports more than anything else. It is not a job or job related it’s my true passion. Unlike the people on T.V. my passion for hunting goes far beyond getting paid to hunt. I enjoy helping those getting started in the sport of shooting and hunting. I have traveled the world hunting and have several record book animals to show for it. I’ve taken Elk, Alligator, Black Bear, African Lion, Cape Buffalo, Kudu, White Tail, wild hogs and Turkey to name a few and the hunt is not over.

 

 

 

 

David Leining Jr –

I have been bowhunting for 25 years. I shoot a Bowtech destroyer 350 and a 64″ Bamboo Viper Long Bow. I have taken a number of native Texas game animals including varmints. I like bowhunting because of the challenge. It’s a battle of wit against instincts. I dedicated myself to hunting with my long bow this season. With a long bow it’s a challenge with every shot, and not always successful. I enjoy helping others especially helping young people that want to get into the sport of shooting and hunting. Getting young people and first time shooters is an investment in the future of our sport so the more the merrier.

 

 

 

 

 

David Merryman –

I’m a self-taught bowhunter with 25 years experience. I shoot a Mathews Z7 and a Hoyt Buffalo. The thing I like most about a bow is the  hunt and sport. My most favorite hunt was watching my wife take her first deer ever with a bow. I shoot in tournaments and my most favorite was the Rhinehart event shooting my recurve in 2011.

 

 

 

 

Amanda Cowen –

I shoot a Hoyt Vixen, with a spot hogg sight, trophy taker rest, and fuse stabilizers and back bars. I am a competition target shooter I travel all over to shoot my bow. I have won several shoots with the TFAA and i was the 2009 state champion. I have recently started shooting 3d and have won a few shoots. I have been shooting my Bow for 4 years and am very proud of what I have accomplished in such a short time. I look forward to doing so much more! I am the Office Manager at Santa Fe Archery, I have worked here for nearly 2 years and I am responsible for tracking all of our inventory, ordering, and numerous other things. I enjoy my time here and helping whom ever I can with the products they need.

 

 

 

 

Elijah –

I’m the youngest tech in the shop and I have been shooting for 11yrs. I shoot a Hoyt Tricon 32. I have been addicted to hunting with a bow from the first shot. My most memorable hunting experience with a bow is when I shot 3 deer back to back and ran out of arrows. Now I carry 4 arrow quiver with me.
